Taylor fought five months after their first match theres no reason why it shouldnt have been a rematch with chavez. The taylor that chavez rematched was at club fighter level. chavez was still world class at this point in time b4 he ran into dlh. The brain damage only started truly showing in the boxing ring after the terry norris fight. Slurred speech dont make you less of a fighter.

What a round. It had everything. Two knockdowns by Castillo and Corrales spitting out the mouthpiece to buy time. Incredibly smart move. The trainer telling him, "You gotta fucking get on him now." Then the last 45 seconds of incredible shots and Castillo going out on his feet. Just incredible, no boxing movie will ever come close to this drama.

That just didn't seem fair why no count for Castillo. I never saw the whole fight but this round just didn't seem fair. I boxed for a long time so I am familiar with a good deal of boxing situations. Castillo should have taken a knee anyway but when your exhausted like that sometimes you can't think straight.

It might seem unfair but think again; Castillos eyes were rolling back and his arms were hanging down by his waist almost. For a second there he was gone and that ´s all it takes sometimes to get seriously hurt. I´ve boxed for 20 years, as an amateur and pro, and I think Tony Weeks did the right thing to stop it. What if he had let Chico tee off on a defenseless Castillo for a few seconds more? He could have been seriously hurt, cause Chico were throwing bo mbs here. Anyway, terrific fight!
