Yet another video showing my Lama V3 in action. Like before, I tour my house, but this time, I fly outside and both up and down the stairs. I'm also a bit riskier than before because I'm a little better at flying it. Music is O.A.R.-The Wanderer. Only upgrade to this Lama is the aluminum inner shaft head.

Nice flying and nice house. That little space above your stereo downstairs is just begging for a flat panel TV. My Lama will be here ANY day now, I've been tracking it from Hong Kong on an hourly basis almost and it just passed US customs!

Haha, yeah. We have a flat panel upstairs now, but money's too tight to get another one for the basement. You'll have fun with the Lama. I remember the intense anticipation when it was on its way. When I first flew it, it turned to frustration because it was crashing a lot. I thought there was something wrong with mine, but it was just because I wasn't a very good pilot. I got better.

Not at first, but after some practice. 6-10 minutes depending on age of battery and aggressiveness of flying. 1 h charge time.

It is fragile, but far more durable than it appears. Once you get the aluminum inner shaft, most breaks don't impede chopper flight. Usually the breaks are aesthetic, like breaking the thin plastic of the tail boom.

Real R/C. Older versions come with a 72 MHz transmitter. The newer version comes with a 2.4 GHz Tx.
