I dont see why the whites have anything to apologize for. Slavery ended over 140 years ago. Official discrimination policies ended over 40 years ago, quit whining. If you all havn't realised this, the movie O Brother Where Art Thou is based off of the Oddyssey. Eulyssies Everet Miguel "Oddysious". In fact, Eulyssies is, I believe, Greek for Oddysious. The Police officer is supposed to be Posiedon, keeping Everet(Oddysious) from returning home to his wife. Also, John Goodman, isn't the leader of the KKK, but he does get squished. He's supposed to be the Cyclops. And the three girls in the river, the Sirens.
