he needs to get more on his side and pull the water closer to his body, he is grabbing too deep. He also needs to enter his hands in the water closer to his head so he doesn't slap the water so much.

well, that works at the beginning of the catch, but with a high elbow catch (when you bend your elbow right after the catch and exit), sometimes you forget to do that......
