Awesome tune, and if you listen to [or can make out] the lyrics, they are as valid today as they were then.
It reminds me of the South Pier disco in Lowestoft in the 80's. When this came on, there was a what we called a 'surge of plastic', as the faux-Goths rushed to the dancefloor to strut their ridiculous stuff.

The Leader! Lmao, aye. I also remember a local 'guest' DJ called 'Killer'. If you remember the South Pier then you might remember him. he was a bit slow [un-pc, sorry]. But he had the same lil' speech each time he got on the decks - and then played Kylie, lol.
Then over to the burger van in the car park by the yacht club ot the kebab shop by Comical Road [Commercial Road]

Saw SOD quite a few time sin the 80's - supporting U2 at Milton Keynes Bowl 85 - along with REM, Ramones, Billy Bragg and The Water Boys. SOD were just awesome live - absolutely AWESOME. Best gig I saw of their's was DeMontfort Hall Leicester!!!!

As below, I saw them at the Milton Keynes bowl supporting U2, in '85. This was the 1st time I saw them and thought they were Awesome..!! Saw them a few times later at the Manchester apollo and Salford University.
