Bobby's voice has a timbre all its own. Songs he's written and perfomed have been covered by Boz Skaggs, Peter Cetera, Al Jarreau, Amy Grant. It ironic to me that they get the recognition for his songs, but it's all good. They know a good song when they hear one, and I'm sure Bobby is flattered that they love him and his songs so well that they want to do them.
