Some people say this game sucks, other say it rocks... i guess i have to play it and see it by myself. Though i love Castlevania, so if they made a good work, i'll be satisfied. if they did the same work as Lament of Innocence, it should be good enough.

I love both of these PS2-Castlevanias.
Sure this is worse than Symphony of the Night that many fans compare every castlevania to (big mistake since there are other good Castlevanias besides Symphony), but by itself it's goddamn entertaining and simply great game with awesome bosses and weapons. Just like Lament of Innocence. Pure greatness.
But that's just me.

i spended hours playing to get all the materials to make the punpkim mace....
and then i saw that the pumpkin was totally useless..
he dies every time they hit him and dont have any big power

Hector (the hero) is human, but was an evil forger with Isaac (the one who killed Rosalie, Hector's wife) who protected Dracula.
he renounced to his evil power anymore and is now Dracula's and Isaac's enemy.
Hector betrayed Dracula for the sake of human kind.
also, Julia (the wizard who sells you Potions and all the stuff) is Isaac's sister, that's why Hector haven't killed Isaac the first time he fights with him: Julia simply ordered Hector to stop and let his brother live.
