Ok, that's not true. A book can be printed with or without peer review. If you aren't interested fine, been nice talking to you. The book is "The Phosphate Rocks of South Carolina" if you want to find it.

btw i already read about this material...i couldnt find any peer reviewed material on it, but i did find a website about the structure of south carolina and why the fossils were mixed up...i didnt give it to you because it wasnt a pub. the point is, uve got nothing, and if you dont have an arguement, then dont try to make it into one, and quite using genesispark or whatever that crap website is. the site has the credibility of a 5 year old.

i too have looked and tried to validate this book. i wasnt able to turn up anything :/ i also ran across several others who have tried to find evidence to support these claims who have also turned up nothing. no one seems to know where these fossils are and apparently the bed has been completely 'mined out' so we cant get new ones. this whole claim seems to be on very shaky ground to me. but of course this might just be my own failure, anyone else have better luck?

I already told you the mixed up fossils are from the banks of a river being eroded away at various levels and the eroded out fossils being washed into the river. The strata of the banks is completely sorted in a consistent chronological and species specific manner. If you have the book you have the full context. Why are you giving the information out of context? Why are you trying to make a mystery out of something that was perfectly well understood a hundred years ago?

Google 'collected papers francis holmes'. On page three of the online book he talks about the various ages of the earth and the extinctions that occurred. A little further in the book the process of how fossils were mixed up by erosion and deposition as a jumbled up mess occurred (page 6). And the world hadrosaurus does not appear in this book. All animals are post-Pleiocene.

Here is all we can say from this. Professor F.S. Holmes a Paleontologist said" in this Post-Pleiocene age, the period when the American Elephant, or Mammoth, the Mastodon, Rhinoceros, Megathereum, Hadrosaurus, and other gigantic quadrupeds roamed the Caroline forests..." So he either mistakenly wrote "Hadrosaurus", or "Hadrosaurus" were found there but mixed in with other fossils like thecommonsenseguy suggests, or Dinosaurs didn't all die 65 million years ago.

#1.That is not the book we are talking about. That one was written in 1858 the one we are talking about was 1870. #2. In the book that you are talking about page 6 is not written by Holmes but is a letter written by another professor. #3. The mixing of the fossils made their work harder so they dug further from the river. #4. We are only taking things out of context because these are the phrases in question, and yes it is a mystery.

"Dinosaurs didn't all die 65 million years ago." well that we already knew. the main problem i have with this claim is that the physical evidence of the hadrosaurs doesnt seem to be anywhere. and before the conspiracy theory kids go nuts, even if it is true that hadrosaurs actaully survived the mass extinction and lived into the eocene for a while, this wouldnt be any sort of problem for evolution so there would be no reason to hide it. especially for over 100 years.

Post-Pleiocene. This one would really upset the apple cart. It doesn't make sense. He mentions Hadrosaurus in the book, he puts one on the cover and that's it? If it was just one or the other OK, but having both makes you wonder. I would like to see the report he gave to the Academy of Natural Sciences I think that is the only way to solve this, and of course it will never be enough for some people. Do you visit Ooparts website?
