from an economical stand point helping other countries stimulates our economy. when we send goods to countries in need, a manufacture has to produce the goods correct or we have to pay for them. how much money is being spent on helping third world countries, now imagine all that being taken away from our economy, and this doesn't even take into account the multiplier effect. Helping other countries also spreads influence like the Soviets did in the except we are giving food instead of arms.
