What's amazing is that Patti genuinely loves them and calls them her "daughters". If someone I had no emotional connection to just came up on stage and sang that I would smile nod & clap. But if someone who knew me, sincerely loved me and consistently cared sang that song to me, the words would have more meaning and I'd cry because I truly believed them. She walks the walk. If Patti dubs you her "daughter", best believe she's going to be there for you like a mother should. She'll stand by you.
