Katherine Anderson, Wanda Rogers, and lead singer on this track, the great Gladys Horton, sing the ultimate version
of "The Boy from Crosstown"...a song performed by many Motown acts. In the loving tribute remix to my favorite grouping of the Marvelous MARVELETTES, I combine the Funk Brothers' backing track to embellish this, one of the MOTOWNEST Motown tracks. As you may see in the intro, I dedicate this remix to my UK Motown friends John Lester...THE Boy From Crosstown, for sharing this version with me in the first place, and to Paul Nixon, Motown UK consultant, for working really hard to get this version released.
