Grief is not a simple short movie about vampires. It is pure aesthetic of the dark side of our passions -- that side that we like just because it is dark, romantic, fascinating. There are more moods than story in it. The movie starts from Kubrik's theory that there are two forces that make a good movie: the director's ideas and the spectator's mood. Anyone who sees Grief, see a different movie and will interact with it as he or she wants. When you see "Grief - the aesthetic of the embrace" you can't exactly understand what you see but you can "feel" it. There are many things that you see there and might distress you. It's a dream, a nightmare or a trip around yourself. When we started to work about it we had only two words: "woe" and "dark". I hope you like it.
