Shaq has 0 game - offensively/defensively outside the paint. He can't shoot facing the basket either. These "experts" are going on the "rings/popularity" bullshit. Shaq won a damned ring in '06 not only not being the 2nd best player on his team......he wasn't even the best center on his team v
s. Dallas! I think Shaq is tougher to stop 1 on 1, but Dream can do WAAAAAY more things on a court.
Kevin Duckworth/Oliver Miller were near or around the same size height as Shaq and they had the athleticism of an elephant. They're the ones you should be referring to. Shaq I recall took off from the dotted line in a playoff game vs. Portland with 2 feet and nearly decapitated Kelvin Cato filli
ng the lane. He stripped Pip in open court for a dunk.
This guy tanks the last 2 damned seasons of his Heat era, gets traded and then suddenly talks of being the link to a Phoenix title run, lol? Ran his ass to L.A. after getting swept, bickers with Kobe despite winnin 3 rings in a row, injured/outta shape every damned near 3rd game with the Heat....
From '86 until 92/93 I almost never saw him play except in ASG during the reg season, because his games weren't televised here.
Hakeem is his prime was quicker, a better rebounder, a WAAAAY better defender (not taking anything away from Tim) that could guard almost the entire court at nearly 7ft. tall with steals, a better shotblocker, the best ever. A better scorer in the playoffs. TD is great, but Hakeem is better th
an him at almost every facet of the game. That's not taking anything away from TD, but more out of positive for the Dream.
John Stockton or Kevin Johnson?
I WISH I had a young Olajuwon on my high school team during my junior year. I was a great three point shooter but our go to guy was a point guard and he was a terrible passer and could never get me the ball on my sweet spots. Damn for any three point specialist, Hakeem is the guy you want to
play with. Because the man is a great passer and demands a double team for the most part of the game.
