The problem is that they dont admit it though they do it.
Disney said they did not even know of "Jungle Emperor".
Impossible!
"Matrix" looks like "Ghost in the Shell". And Wachowski Brothers confess that "Matrix" is influenced deeply by "Ghost in The Shell". Cosequently no controversy has happened.

Originally 1965-66, remake in an awful new version in 1989 that had nearly nothing to be with the original.

As far as I know, and I may be wrong; the 1965 first TV series was the first half of the manga, and the second in 1966 was the second half. This second part matchs the 1997 movie; and finishes with Kimba's spirit appearing in a cloud. 1989 series are far too Violent, and here Kimba dies Young, not like in the Manga.

I remember seeing the preview for this movie when I was 5 and thinking it said "30 second" feature, not 32nd feature... I was all "what a jip!" Obviously I got the idea when I saw the movie.

hey ya I know alot of Kimba. Kimba IS THE ORIGINAL LION KING it is based from Japan like Astro Boy etc anime, but overal, I think Disney totally ripped off from the original even tho I liked the movies n all, but KIMBA CAME FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when the 89 series was being planned it was originally suppose to closey follow the manga, however Tezuka died during the making of 89 series and then new writers changed the story, the first volume relates to the 89 series and some of the 60s series, but still closer the the 89 series, the volume in where he grows up all resembles the 1997 movie, and Kimba doesnt die in the end of the 89 series, though does get shot, but the climax in the 89 series is from Tezuka
