To tektribe: I know. I was also talking about Tetsurou's encounter with Faust, although Faust must have been punishing himself for serving the wicked regime by allowing himself defeated by Tetsurou. I think anime makers had really run out of ideas on the shocking identities of villains already in the beginning of 1980's. It's been steadly one's own parent/s or the authority figures. It's a kind of reality horror seeing how children/youth are turning up lately.

You said it! I completely agree with you. I'm 40+ now and I feel my generation is responsible for making the society this sickening. Poor today's children/youth, although they must also combat their own wickedness. Pollution on the planet is not as bad as the pollution on human character today. Let's search what each of us can do for the remedy... the depraved mankind needs help from external Source.
