You focus too much on the high notes. What makes Mariah special is her range. 5 octaves. hardly anybody can cover 5 octaves. Love when she goes down very low too, in the same verse.

I think Chante Moore has the strongest whistle register in music today. Hers is most like Minne Riperton, so effortless. I'd like to see her go toe to toe against Mariah. I think the outcome would really surprise MC fans!

You may be right, i'm don't know too much about notes, but she has a Guiness Record, so I guess it's true. I read about it and the say humans can't even hear a G10.

I love Mariah but before you say no other whistle register singer can belt or hit low notes like mariah, you should look up Rachelle Ferrell.. go look at her with open arms vid.. not only she did the whistle register clearer than M.C. but she held it for 11sec.. she can also belt notes for 25sec+ and even sing bass notes.. she also imitates any instrument with her voice.. NOO other singer has proven to be as versatile as her to date!! To me, she is the most underated singer there is..
