Sun Princess goes to Pago Pago in American Samoa - and a trip on the local bus. The lovely ladies were in Miss American Samoa competition and came on board the ship for a photo call. The local bus picked up many school children who can be seen through the window in their various uniforms.

hes saying that upolu (western samoa) is nicer, and i think a lot of people think so. but i will always love American Samoa, it may not be more modern but thats our culture down there right? right! but again thank you soo... much I hope I get to go back soon! Hi, thanks for the translation, I was afraid it might be rude! We went last Autumn (October/Novemer) on a cruise ship, so we were unfortunately only in American Samoa for one day. We would love to go back some day and spend longer there. We loved the culture, who wants modern? The friendliness of the people we met was outstanding. I hope you do get back there soon.

Such a change. I recall when the Matson Line M/V Mariposa and M/V Monterey came to port and everyone went to the Pago Pago Intercontinental Hotel for the afternoon. Such a change, and not an improvement. But Owen Aspinall was the Governor and Fa Samoa was real.
