Why do women wish they were Rachel for the scene? To be in the position to reject a guy that cares a lot about you? To be the one that has to let him down and to possibly at that moment in time break his heart?
I think Matt Le Blanc acts his scene as Joey very well, in a sidestep from his cocky attitude with women, suddenly he's put through the mill of emotions and finds that its a very difficult place to be. I'm sure everyone has been in similar situation on each side and it's never easy
