I agree. Kim and Tommy actually had chemistry and were equally devoted to each other and the rangers. Tommy was aways from the show and they kept in contact, the only reason they brought Kat/Tommy together was to attract female viewers. They later rekindled the Tommy/Kim stuff in Turbo. In the uncut version when Kim stayed behind, Tommy was hesitant about leaving her. Kim was more equal to Tommy, fighting no matter risks (death), being pure evil, leading, and a more able and confident fighter.
