Yes, I'm aware of the spelling error made on the very first slide in the very fourth word. Epic fail on my part. Unfortunately, I tend to read over my mistakes when I stare at something for hours. It shall be preserved as a testament to my fallibility :3 *A note about "true colour" images. Though
the images are produced to represent true or approximately true colours, you will often find they appear white to your eye through a telescope. There are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, light from the stars and most other objects is just too faint to excite the colour receptors in your eyes,
and secondly your brain is extremely capable of 'white balancing' what you see. To demonstrate this to yourself, try taking a picture of a fluorescent lamp the next time you see one. Though it appears white to your eyes, your camera will show you that it is actually green! Hubble Ultra Deep Field

No they wouldn't. ... ( 1 month ago by AngusYoung93)
No they wouldn't. However, you must also realize that the definition of a Christian is not one who does not follow Allah. It is defined as one who follows the Bible. The definition of a Christian is a positive assertion of belief. One can "not follow Allah" and be Buddhist. Does that mean you can define every religion except Islam as "Aislam?" Absolutely not. I must reiterate that atheism is defined as the LACK of belief, not the negative belief there isn't a god. (Out of room going to class)
"you must ..." ... ( 1 month ago by oilotnoM)
"you must ..." Where exactly did I say the (complete) definition of religion X was limited to simply NOT being any religion from the set of all other religions? All I said was that there are additive properties, ajudaic, a-islamic, abuddhist etc. which can be tagged quite validly onto any religion other than the one associated directly with the tag. "Atheism is "without gods""; Christianity, for example, is "without other gods" and is thus lacking those other gods/religious beliefs. Get it?
* well, at least ... ( 1 month ago by oilotnoM)
* well, at least for any religion which calls for it's followers to be exclusive, which afaik is all of them. "Does that mean you can define ... Aislam?" along with a lot of other A*'s to each and every religion. A muslim who has never heard of christianity is by definition, an Achristian, as they lack belief in christianity, they lack all knowledge of it so how can they believe? No one in existance will ever have known all the religions that ever existed, so everyone is an A* to some extent.

Awesome video. I got all the test images correct. ;) Good rule of thumb: if the colors appear intense, or extremely varied (i.e., a lot of green also with a lot of red), it's probably false color.

« I have a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about. If I don't know something, I'll look it up, or just not make it the subject of my video. » Too bad. What with the definitions for time and existence and all, I'd have thought that Hawking's no-boundary proposal would per default be more accur

I have never suggested that the Universe began at t=0, and furthermore I've never alluded to the big bang being the beginning of the Universe. The big bang is simply the solution to all Friedman solutions at t=0. As for the boundariless hypothesis, you must be aware that it is in hot debate within the scientific community at present.

« you must be aware that it is in hot debate within the scientific community at present » Of course I am. I think it's one of the more interesting topics. I was just wondering if you knew what the latest developments in this area were, or what your own opinion on the matter is.
