if you put a turbo on that you would just blow bits of turbine blades out the exhaust the first time you touched the accellerator.

world101010 we all prefer high speed same noise or better hydrogen motors, much faster than electric and petrol, much more effective than electric and of course petrol, same as comfortable, and they only pollute with water vapor. Do you know which energy you use when you product electricity? 90% petrol.

an 850 horsepower f1 car
burns about 2 gallons per mile
and with an exposed engine, it probably creates about 100 decibles. thats why their hands are on their ears... oh and that would take about 17000 screaming people to create that much, just so u know

to the kiddy that said its 100 decibels....thats bollocks,my kango gun at work makes 92 decibels,it warns you on the box,f1 cars in real life sound like fuckin thunder

By the looks of the shirts its the Spyker F1 team and I believe its about 135 db. I went to a few GP races and you have to be about 50 meters away before you don't need your ears plugged.

yes but they are banned in f1 for safety reasons because if you attached a turbo to a modern day f1 car god knows what hell would be unleashed lol thats also why the v10's were banned a few years ago

True but it really ...( 1 week ago by macro820)
True but it really doesn't matter what regulations they put in place they will always find more power. I know to start one they have to heat the engine up with hot water and oil to get the metal to expand because the tolerances are so tight at room temperature the engine seizes up.

Hill accidentally won a championship when senna died. Culthard never even won a championship accidentally , and hamilton might accidentally win a championship if he stops driving into the back of parked cars:) we british seem to think that we are the only ones worth mentioning are british drivers I really don't know why?
Hate to say but ...( 1 week ago by T2000Terminator)
Hate to say but kiddy is right! every 6 decibel increase involves the input of 4 times more power, 100 decibels is a lot louder than 92, concorde on take off with afterburners is only 120 decibels, and a saturn 5 rocket is 200 decibels. Check the wattage of your kango, a F1 engine produces about 700 watts of power, work it back and you'll see I'm right:) isn't physics sick!

Define "real car". Do you mean some cast-iron pushrod clunker shat out by one of Detroit's junkfactories by any chance?
Take a look at bleeding edge sportscars some day, the top of the line are all turbocharged. That shows how much you know what you're talking about... ;)
