Umm no. He dosen't say "thing". He does say "lay". "lay" is slang for sexual partner. Male or female. In the song hes directing it toward women or gays. That is why the audience goes "ohh!!" it was an "I can't believe he just said that" kinda, Ohhh!!

Dear 7060o0, I agree!:D Ever since a guildmate linked "Code Monkey" to our guild site I just can't get enough of these songs & spiff's vids too. Been enjoying everything I can find by him. From melancholy to hilarious, what an awesome sense of humor,voice,music &lyrics. I've fav'd quite a few & as soon as I have the comp on I've got his music playing:) Been quite a while since I've found any music/vids this entertaining & so well done.
