Well I disagree with that impression. 2.4% more breaks in Monte Carlo. Hamburg gives a lower bounce though which helps Federer.

The courts are much bouncier in Paris. Perfect for Nadal's style of game. Federer came in to the last 2 Finals before this in much better form but not this year.

roger was in good form,trouble is, he ´s not pacient enough to withstand long rallies, fed like´s to finish point´s quickly and be agressive, that´s great for fast surfaces,only clay demands pacience..rafa has that.

Fed's absolute peak was in 2006 on clay. Yes he is still solid these days on clay but Nadal has gotten better and Fed has gotten worse. Federer is plenty patient. The problem is all the spin coming off of Nadal's racquet which the French Open helps even more.

but roger ´s style is an attacking-counter style,while nadal is a defensive-counter style,fed does like to end points in the most efficient way possible, that´s why he rarely plays 5 set matches..but yes nadal does push him back on the baseline..making it hard for roger to rush the net..

Roger is able to play both ways. He can play long points and short points. What he struggles with is with Nadal's spin. This forces him to shorten points. Nadal is too good on passing him when he comes to the net and the slice is ineffective against Nadal. If Federer had a two-handed backhand, he would be able to match up better to Nadal. Djokovic is a tougher matchup for Nadal on clay.
