essica, Mahnprit, Byron, Carter, Shanandolan, and Erin will never get to walk to halls of Booker T. Washington High School for graduation. Their school was demolished to make way for a new school before graduation to save on construction costs. These students all came to the bus the day after the demolition. This video is a dedication from the students to their lost school. Even though they won't see their High School the way they knew it, their creations, arts and passion will still live on! Brought to you by the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus.

The harmony is not horrible. It could have been better but it was ok. The girl singing is actually a beast right now and she's doing big things. She will probably sing cirles around you whoever you are. She was a senior in high school for goodness sake. Do ya thing Shan. I graduated from arts in 04 and I know all about what the school is supposed to be like. I definitely left my mark there. Ask the music teachers about Caleb McCampbell. LOL!

I'm not even trying to be conceited or anything I'm just saying don't diss the youngsters because you never know how it might blow up in your face. She might become the next hot young vocalist. Now the music wasn't awesome but it had its place. God Bless Arts Magnet cuz that school is turning into NOTHINGNESS.

I pray that the administration would come to an understanding of the "REAL ARTS MAGNET". The couches in the hallway, the REAL GREEN ROOM, Mr. DAVISON, Taste of the ARTS (TOTA), Skipping school to go to the plaza, Being able to wear whatever the heck you wanted to and not get screamed at for it. Freedom of expression. Thats ARTS MAGNET!

Actually, The school had changed so much that you probably really don't know what it's supposed to be like... After we left there was so much freedom taken away from arts. The faculty began to lose their spirit of caring for what we did. I'm a graduate of Arts Magnet Class of 1995 and when I was a freshman I saw what arts magnet was supposed to be about. When you attend a school as historical and amazing as that place used to be, you become attached..

do you know the greatness that walked those halls? Roy Hargrove, Erika Badu, MYron Butler, Geno Young, Cedric Darden and even more before them. We were all critical of each other but it was always done in love. We still sing the school song when we get together because we love that place...
