This is a clip from the legendary Shea Stadium Concert that broke The Beatles ticket sales record. A record that still stands today (37 years later). I'm proud to say this video is in the permanent archives of Shea Stadium & The N.Y. Mets. Yes, this is the real deal, the Grand Funk Railroad we all love at the peak of their great career. This is a historic concert that folks still rave about. If you were there, feel lucky, because you were a part of history. This is considered by many to be one of the greatest concerts in the short history of "Hard Rock/Metal". Grand Funk Railroad was truly a "Performance Vehicle". Ha, man you're fast on the draw! Well, to me, funk has a blend of soul music with a strong rhythmic electric base, and etc., of course. Not saying Grand Funk is the king of funk like Hooker is the king of boogie woogie, but Grand funk certainly has enough of it in their own unique way to use 'funk' in the name of their band.

Thats right! Clean. Compared to popular rock groups like ACDC, Motley Crue, Marylin Manson, Even back early seventies with Aerosmith, they were big drug users. Grand Funk stayed away from that, do your history.

PackedFunk:You are great; best promoter GFR ever had. I signed the petition. GFR is the best, I saw them live in their heyday; tighest/most cohesive band I had seen and I had seen them all, Cream, Hendrix, Led Z, etc. GFR beat them all hands now. To see these videos again is like seeing them for the first time cause honestly I was having such a good time at their concerts I don't remember much...having too good a time. All I know is I loved their music and still do.
