I agree; but the 60's French New Wave films that he ripped off to make Pulp Fiction were far better. Maybe I would be able to forgive him if he at least admitted he stole the ideas and gave credit to Jean Luc Goddard and other obscure directors of the Crime Noir & Exploitation genre.

Yes it is possible for someone to "steal ideas" and its called plagiarism. Tarantino is the embodiment of this ideology; why is it so hard for this man to come up with his own ideas? Only once did he formulate an idea of his own and that was in the form of his first film titled "My Best Friend's Birthday" and look at how awful that was. Hes sitting on a pile of money derived from ideas that came from other directors imagination without their written consent.

I am a HUGE fan but I really think he drop the ball with DEATH PROOF(don't get me wrong it was not a Bad movie and I do like it) I just think the dialogue would have been cool in 93 and it was not really in grindhouse from... DEATH RACE that would be a grindhouse type. I just hope fucking rocks the house with Inglorious Bastards and not make a action cartoon but a dark TARANTINO EPIC LIKE NEVER SEEN can't wait

Uuuh, which is which, my friend? Fight Club is "satirical" in its own right, but that's not what defines it. The same goes for the others, and your descriptions of them. But they all display extremely important philosophies. That's what makes them great. A film's a film, but when it transcends what a film should do, that's when it becomes something more. Pulp Fiction's great, but it would fall in third place, I guess. I'm still deciding between Fight Club and The Matrix (trilogy).
