When the studio catches fire during Jay's show, he collapses and must be rescued from the fire by Doris. When the news reports Jay's being rescued, he gets a reputation as being a wimp so he tries to prove his manliness by running in the New York Marathon which tends to be more tiresome than it seems.

Critic is better than Family Guy even if it was short lived, at least it doesn't lose itself in inter-changeable jokes and ties it into the plot. Great cartoon, I miss it when I would stay up late and see it on tv.

man this should couldve been a hit. this show was made by al jean and mike reiss two guys working as show runners on the simpsons. as you can see alot of people from the simpsons worked on this show too. anyway i heard this show is out on dvd. this show would be on today but unfortually its not.
