Producer, Performer, Composer, MIDI Programmer, Engineer, and Keyboardist David Lee Spradley, also known as David Lee or "D. Lee", is the founder and leader of "D. Lee and The Edge." Has done extensive work on many P-Funk LPs/CDs
D Lee has a phenomenal discography of more than 50 albums. Some of the more notables are:
"Atomic Dog," in collaboration with George Clinton created the music tracks for the hit, "Atomic Dog" (1 R &B)
"Fly Girls," in collaboration with The Boogie Boys (1 R &B)
"Let's Go All The Way," in collaboration with Sly Fox (5 Pop) etc....
David was born in Seoul, Korea on May 18, 1954. His birth name was Lee Seung Chan. He was adopted by his wonderful American parents, Russell and Nancy Spradley when he was 3 years old and moved to the United States where he became a naturalized U.S. citizen.
At the age of 4, as soon as he was abl
e to reach the keys, David started playing his grandmother's old piano. He has continued his love of the keyboard as a professional musician over the past 30 years, expanding his professional life to include playing keyboards, producing, writing, and recording for a number of various internationally
known artists.
