The guy playing the robot monster had to wear this suit in the desert heat. Rumor has it he kept passing out and dropping the woman he captured.
Also, the budget for the movie was so low that the producers had to scavenge an old gorilla suit and a diving helmet... and viola! A terrible, yet funny movie was made!
