Thanks for this Yootha was great,she and Bryan great togethor,I met him once,really nice man.
So sad about Yootha but still fondly remebered to this today,a sure sign of her talent.

You spoilt the whole tribute thing - any fan of the show knew the situation with Yootha Joyce - so there was no need for the article about the drinking or even the death notice - I appreciate your effort for putting this up but a tribute should have been left at just the classic clips that we came to love from George and Mildred - you marred the whole thing

It was an Good tribute, NOT everyone who watched the show would know her personal problems,its like making any documentary or writing a biography on a parson and leaving out the part when he/she passed away!

What a tastefully made and well put together tribute. Well done, I really enjoyed that. Yootha was a wonderful actress, may she rest in peace, and bravo to Murphy, I particually enjoyed him in 'The Booze Cruise' :-)

I've loved Yootha Joyce for years. I even dreamt once what I thought would've been a good idea for a movie - someone who wakes up back in time and is able to converse with her and tell her about her future. I guess it's because she's such a strong figure from my growing up, even though she was long since dead.

you would neverknow that yootha was an alcoholic,she was so professional,her comic timing was exeptional,nigh on impossible with a hangover.she and brian were a comedy match made in heaven

have been watching G&M on paramount while i was off work poorly, what a tonic!got the dvd box set for xmas and watching back to back.i feel like i'm in their front room...a film about yootha's life would be good.she cuts a sad figure.considered ugly,she was actually quite an attractive woman i think...there was a sexuality about her...if only george could have seen it!

Brian And Yootha(R.I.P) Were Both Amazing In This. And I Really Feel For Them When They Said By Around Series 3 Their Fame Had Got A Bit Ridiculous And Fans Would Shout 'Hey George Hows Mildred!' ! I Have 4 Of The Series On Dvd.LOVE IT! Yootha Is Greatly Missed x
