KLIF Radio disc jockey, Rex Jones was in the middle of his Top-40 music show in Dallas. Little did anyone know America's age of innocence was about to end. The date was November 22, 1963.
Thanks to Texas disc jockey, Steve Eberhart, This KLIF aircheck has been preserved in its entirety at Reel Radio.com. Public Note: TubeNumber1 reasons the use of the images included in this video for historical documentation purposes, fall under the "Non-profit educational" clause of the Fair Use
doctrine currently upheld by United States law. (17 U.S.C. § 107) It is unlikely that freely-licensed images suitable for teaching this historical event in its proper context will be found; specifically, it is unlikely there are any freely-licensed images taken during this period. Because the su

Worst thing that ever happened to the U.S. other than the death of MLK and the Civil War. God bless MLK and JFK.

Kennedy was killed ... ( 3 weeks ago by kensei85)
Kennedy was killed on the grassy knoll by Jesuit James Files who confessed. The police radio proves 4 shots were fired- 1 from the GK. The exit-wound CLEARLY shows the fatal headshot came from the front. Jack Ruby was Jesuit too, under orders from Bush/LBJ. John Wilkes Booth was a Jesuit acting for bankers because Lincoln introduced an interest-free currency; FDR knew in advance about the imminant Japanese attack and knowingly failed to act; 9/11 was an inside job. Read more history books.

Hi, I
´m a german boy. I was born 12 years after the assassination but my grandma told me the feeling when it happend. He was such a beloved man, not only in germany. My grandma did not have a tv (sorry for my english). She heard it by neighbors and went to the pub ( we had only one pub with tv in our vi
llage) and she watched what has happend. Then came Lyndon Johnson. What a difference.

I think that America was a safer and better place to live back in the 1950's and early 1960's...J.F.K.'s death in 1963 was the beginning of the turbulant 1960's and the end to the Age of Innocence...America isn't the same anymore...Don't you think this video is sad becuase it has such a happy mood and feeling to it when right at that moment, chaos was spreading around the country because the president was just assasinated?
What age of ... ( 1 week ago by swansandtyphus)
What age of innocence?
American was born out of the violence of the Revolution. Slavery existed until the US Civil War that almost tore the country apart.
The Indian Wars continued until about 1900.
America fought Mexican bandits, two world wars and the Korean War ended only ten years before 1963.
During the 1920's Prohibition gangsters were running the major cities with the politicians and cops in their pockets.
Violent crime was rampant in American society in 1963.

I also agree that the 50's and 60's(and 70's) were a safer time, I just think that the direction you're looking in for reason is wrong. It's not so unusual to think of those things as reasons though, as I believe it's somewhat human nature. In reality, I think the reasons may be harder to face than we all understand.
Okay, I somewhat ... ( 5 days ago by caliguy92)
Okay, I somewhat agree with you and I can understand what you are trying to say but I still do look at the 50's and early 60's as the hight of American civilization and things have been getting worse since then in my opinion...

I agree.. I'm also sick of the LEAST worst human in the race getting elected. Why can't it be the best man for the job instead of the lesser of evils? Maybe I'm naive.. I mean, i'm 27.
