He doesnt have a reputation as a crasher. Just coz hes crashed alot recently. He destroyed everyone in the 250 class and he was doing very well until china. De puniet crashes every race. Hes being doing it for years which is why they were wary of bringing him upto motogp. They have a top speed of nearly 200mph, of course there going to crash sometimes. In the race before cataluna he came third with two bust up ankles which is some going.
