Daniel Day-Lewis offered a somber tribute to Heath Ledger during his acceptance speech at the Screen Actors Guild awards on Sunday. But after the ceremony, he urged the media to "leave Ledger's family alone". (Jan. 28)

Daniel said it for me, and for a lot of us. They need to stay the hell away from his family. I'm betting when The Dark Knight premiers, the actors in the movie will be hounded by the media about Heath instead of getting questions about the actual movie. The only way they will be showing respect to Heath's memory, is by backing off (for once); and praising his performance in the movie, because I'm sure it will have been amazing.
Total respect to Day-Lewis for this.
