Genesis (minus Steve Hackett & Peter Gabriel) performing at the Lyceum Theatre in May of 1980. One of the last tours, if not the last, that featured complete performances of much of the great songs of the 70s before they reduced them to medleys.

A good place to start is to e-mail the RnR HOF and let them know that Phil and Genesis deserve it. I dont think I'm allowed to post their address since my previous attempts to reply didn't make it to post. It took a while to search for it on their webpage, but I believe I found it among their contact information.

I love the changes in this song. Only Genesis can take your from that middle transition and back with such precision. There simply brilliant. I feel on another planet when I hear this song. Who needs Gabriel. Kiss my butt.

One more pretty song from Wind & Wuthering album. Genesis it must be with YES group make us feel like to flying in heaven when we're listen.
And the great groups makes great performance in alive. I love the Wind & Wuthering and never tyre to listen.

Actually, most of the songs in the early days of Genesis having to do with kings and such were Mike's, not Gabriel's, though this is one of Tony's.

This song along with Your Own Special Way and most of Wind and Wuthering always made me think of my perception or belief in God. Especially when I was a kid and didn't know what I really believed. Something about much of Genesis that always did this to me. Wind and Wuthering still remains one of my favorite albums of all time even though I listen to mostly Christian music now. It's great to see them and hear these great songs that you post. Thanks so much.

Exactly as I have said in other and earlier posts with similar Genesis material! I have thought this myself! If you could, go with me on a journey! At the end of this song at the last instrumental part, that starts around 9:17 and the climax I speak of is at 9:37! Imagine in your mind at 9:37 that God finally allows us, when we are in heaven with Jesus he shows us all of His glory! What a song that, while does not do God justice, it can give us carnal humans a taste maybe?
