Why is this band so hated. NR is fucking great! A lot of put downs on all their videos. I do not dislike any of their songs. The cds have nice artwork and I know the lyrics are excellent.

Not in agreement with you. I like all their songs. I guess everyone has an opinion and I did ask the question. Just do not understand why anyone goes to songs of bands they dislike and makes negative comments. If I see a video from a band I do not like, I just move on. Go watch videos that you enjoy and let NR fans enjoy the music.

Everyone in my metal sphere would tell you that as an explanation. Fact is, the three first albums with NR is incredibly melodic orgasmic power metal. Free at last, the legend lives on, the vision, pentagram, downspell etc are immortal. Now NR has a much rawer sound which doesn't appeal to their former melody junkie fan base such as me. Ontop of that, one of the top 5 metal singer ever in swedish metal left the band.

I have always liked Nocturnal Rites. The New and Old. Anders is a very good singer and so is Jonny. To me there is not a bad song on Tales or The Sacred cds. Warrior's Return is one of my favorite NR songs. It was a big change but NR is still very good.

Yea and i respect that totally man, we all have different taste. I was just trying to explain why you may have noticed that people "hate" NR nowadays. The only songs I like from the new stuff is vengeance and afterlife. They have all become much better musicians tho on the latter albums. The new just doesn't leave goosebumps on my arms while the old stuff always does.
