I can somewhat agree, John's role as a father was less than steller, especially in the begining, but that doenst make him a bad person... some people just arent good with kids, granted he should have thought about that before having them... but sometimes things just happen. I have no doubt he loved his son... I read somewhere he tried to be more fatherly toward the end... yeah.. he waited to long. someday he will have the chance to make that up.
