I love both versions of the song. I love Aaliyah's playfulness and Betty's sinisterness. This probably one of my favorite covers. The bass on this is more soulful but the original is a classic and one of Timbo's best production.

I just heard this for the first time yesterday, and I was quite impressed.
Although I'm still partial to the original (I have every Aaliyah album), I think this cover did it justice. And I think Aaliyah would've loved it too. Aaliyah, towards the end of her life, was into rock music (Korn comes to mind, although I don't like them).
Such an unfortunate tragedy. I could only imagine what kind of music Aaliyah would be making now.
