no but after the brothers, in the tunnel if you kill monsters it helps give you a better chance of getting barrows items. (check runehq, runescape knowledge base, it says so)

the cheapest way is veracs, you completely get rid of the need for deaths and mind runes. slayer dart is faster but it costs more per trip, also you dont need darts or a bow, just melee ahrims with d hide. I dont use a single dose of prayer potion for a trip, and normally only 1 dose of combat potion. I just think its funny that you call this the best way when it could be better
