someone should start a conspiracy page about Nike controlling Tiger's balls to make him win with optimal Swoosh shots on TV. :) This and that other stupid amazing shot both have ideal logo placement in each of them. How could ti be an accident? ;0
He lines the ball ... ( 2 months ago by shortstop20)
He lines the ball up so that the word "Tiger" is pointing straight at his target line, the Nike logo is 90% to the left and right of that. That is why the Nike logo is showing on the putt.

I wish someone well ... ( 2 months ago by cschimen)
I wish someone well know could challenge tiger more often like this. Don't get me wrong, Rocco's a great guy, but he had little chance to beat tiger. If someone like Sergio or AK could rival tiger, it would really boost golf's image to people around the world.
If Tiger's putt was ... ( 2 months ago by Cheeko1111)
If Tiger's putt was one quarter inch to the right, Rocco would have beat him. So I think he had more than a little chance to beat Tiger. But I agree, it would be nice to see Sergio or Phil take on Tiger tournament to tournament.
It's golf. You ... ( 2 months ago by vaxxon1)
It's golf. You don't beat anyone. At that point, it was Tiger's to lose. Mediate had his chances to put this one away but his putting was hit and miss. As for Rocco's real chance against Tiger? The playoff proved to showcase the mental toughness between the two and how ultimately, the pressure finally got to Rocco. I would have liked to see him win but let's face it. There is no one out there that can handle the pressure of a major like Tiger, period.

MESSAGE TO CSCHIMEN: Sergio is weak.He parties all hours of the night and this is the sole reason that his putting isn't calm.

common sense says Phil, but i think Anothony Kim is a kid who could catch fire. AS long as he stays mentally stable that is. Plus, i'm only 16 so i tend to rout for the young guns

great putt by woods. another example of how much bottle this guy has. there is no one better than pulling out the stops when the chips are down.
golf is not the same without the guy
It doesn't matter ... ( 2 months ago by daimenkainffxi)
It doesn't matter if Tiger beats a "no-name" down the stretch. He still shot a better score than all the other golfers, including Sergio, Phil, etc. I don't understand how his victory is lessened because THEY played poorly.

Tiger won Cuz he is simply better than rocco, rocco was playing his absolute best, i mean lets be serious, how many good shots did rocco hit in that whole tournament, a shit tonne, rocco didnt win because of pressure he didnt win cuz he was simply outplayed, of course theres pressure playing against the best in the world but if you seen the look on roccos face that whole week you could tell challenging tiger wasnt bothering him.
I think that was ... ( 1 month ago by vaxxon1)
I think that was Dan Hicks. Usually, he was generally good during the tournament but man, every once in a while he was insufferable. He's gotten a lot worse with the whole Phelps thing at the Olympics.
A) No, you could ... ( 1 month ago by vaxxon1)
A) No, you could not. B) He could have won this tournament or at least put himself in a better position to do so but he was erratic down the stretch. C) How many good shots? Weren't you watching? He hit enough to end up in a playoff. D) Part of outplaying someone involves both mental and physical aspects of a sport. EVERYONE knows this. Rocco finally just fell apart.

Poor rocco probably his last chance to win a major and it happens to be his favorite and tiger just pulls him in not taking credit away from tiger though guy is great winning with his injury playing those great shots during the week and in the PO rocco played great also he has guts too going the distance with tiger even pushing him to an extra hole after the PO wow that was probably the best display off golf iv seen in a long time. Can't wait for tiger to come back.
