A 1970's edition of the seminal Children's TV show "The Magic Roundabout" written and voiced by the unique Eric Thompson. Why this isn't repeated or released on DVD is beyond me. Classic stuff!!!

this was actually created by a frenchman,at the time, the french primeminister was called dou-gal!!! the mad looking dog was called dougall,the french took offence to this glich of a translation,caused some shit back in the day then years later they stopped our lambs from being imported tto france

I used to have nightmares about this when I was a child! I had a mgaic roundabout lampshade which my parents had to take out of my room! Between that and Animal from The Muppets! I was of a very sensitive disposition.

hehe i adore this--it came out so long before i was born but they wouldnt dare make anything so good now. modern cartoons are so politically correct and nice where everyone has the same personality. i hear theyre making new episodes of this series--i doubt it will have the charm of eric thompsons stories

Oddly I remember this from my youth too, but here in the US (though airings on a program cable channel Nickelodeon had in the 80's), we had a version that came from the French anyway that was a translation with different voice actors for the characters (I guess the BBC had a stronghold on Thompson's edition, despite the version I saw having nearly all the British names used anyway).
