It is great that you get benefit from feeling love for or from Jesus. Buddhists have similar experiences as do Hindus. I only attack people who imagine jealous gods we must bow to that insist babies are born indebted because of a sin committed by some fictitious historical character. That is insane and irrational. i understand what you mean but i think you are refering to the old testament and we dont live in the times of the old testament. the ten commandments are infact fine but after jesus came he said the most important rule is to love your god with all you heart,with all your mind, and with all your strength...the second most important is to love your next as your self...(i dont know the exact words from the bible)so "our" god doesnt tell us to kill rebellious people and it doest look down on women..
