The story is obviously not true. The work is a parody, and a misleading one. It is ridiculous to suggest that because the provincial government of British Columbia believes in standardized testing of skills then it does not believe in the value of creativity.

Sadly, too many administrators will comment that the Fraser Institute rankings are not valid, but then turn around and focus on improving school rankings. Is the tail wagging the dog?
