No sir, Mr.Gaiman is jewish (so my research shows) and if he is indeed a Jewish man (and a very delightful man, all religion aside) I suppose he is a rather "lapsed" one. His father was a Scientolgist, but if Neil was a Scientolgist, what would it matter? Pratchett is a Neo-Pagan and I'm Catholic and I still enjoy his books.

Neil Gaiman's work is great and he absolutely exudes awesome. I think he might be my idol.
Why do people care what religion or whatever he is? That really doesn't have much to do with his work.

He is a very good writer. I hope to reach his level of success one day. I'd also like to meet him. He's right, though. You have to just write and write from your heart. Anyone that has a good story can write a bestseller. The words will come naturally as you go along.

Hello. Yes, I do write. I've written three novels, the first of which is being published. What kind of paper are you talking about? A High School paper, a college paper? I do mostly pieces of fiction, but I've learned to edit essays.
