Yep. She used her talents in the 80's. I recognise that. Its a shame she isn't living up to her potential as a creative person. Now shes just using her name. I wonder if much of her frustration isn't coming from that realization. Not selling albums to the same degree is no reason to quit your career. The question becomes, was she really an artist to begin with if it can be so easy to quit.

Thats the problem. Having a name that isn't updated with concrete, productive work soon tarnishes. When a name is mostly associated with emotional extremes and acting drunk (I'm not saying she IS drunk, only she could know, but boy, she sure does a great imitation if she's not) the name becomes a liability rather than an asset. After seeing this stuff, who could depend on her enough to send a project her way?
