Nah, you're being a little too rough on Mariah. Back in the early 90's she had some awesome song and hit notes no one knew existed. But if you're referring to the modern-day Mariah Carey (ie, from 1998 to the present) then yeah, I totally agree with your statement. The only reason she's sold more records than the Beatles is because there are more people in the world today than there was back then. Percentage-wise, the Beatles still own her.
