You should care what Ron Paul has to say. Corporate has only been allowed to influence Govt not only via money, deceit and congresses failure to do its job, but via the peoples blind trust in its govt, and history has and will continue to repeat itself until we do something about it. Congress passed the Federal Reserve act of 1913 without fully understanding it or its repercussions and then did the same with the most recent Patriot Act that they gave 15 minutes to scan its 300 pages.
