No matter what a muslim amy attempt to do to Aghia Sophia she will always be a Christian Church.Before the Muslims conquered Constantinople, Aghia Sophia was Consecrated by the Fathers of our Church and the mystery was accomplished by Holy Spirit.Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is Lord,he is also a forgiving God, a loving God an understanding God.Next time it rains in Constaninople look up at the heavens over Aghia Sophia and if you see a tear !

Many Turks are of Orthodox origin because many young Christian boys were taken by force to serve as janissaries in the Ottoman army. So many Turks have just to rediscover the faith of their ancestors.

For fall of Constantinople we can say thanx to the crusaders If there were not been forth crusader war in 1204 and fall of constantinopole there would not be a Ottoman empire. Mortal strike to Byzantium was not given by the Turk It was crusaders who gave it!!! And that is the reason why is Constantinopole in the hands of the muslims and Hagia Sophia was converted in mosque

I hope no conflict erupts on the temple, it was wrong for the muslims to take Hagia Sophia, but it was also wrong when the Christians and Muslims were fighting and taking Jerusalem from her founders, the Jewish people, neither of the 3 are immune to conflict, only understanding others can end many conflicts.

There's no such thing as "Byzantine". Hagia Sophia is not a "Byzantine" church - it was built by Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire, Justinian I.

"Hence BYZANTINE.History Cannot be Changed" No, it can't be. There's no such thing as "Byzantine" - it was gibberish invented by German historian in 17th century. Hagia Sophia is not a "Byzantine" church - it was built by Emperor of the Eastern Roman Empire, Justinian I. "Byzantine" would have meant nothing to people of Eastern Roman Empire.
