A standard lotus omega (377 hp) against a Swedish civilian police car (Saab 9 5 turbo 190 hp) well they did not have a chance to Begin with :-) rumor has it that it is the motorcyclist ghostrider that is driving the car... just rumors

they did
´t get him but went to a driwing teacher/stunt motorcycle driver that owened one in the area and acused him.. the car wasen´t there, and he said he borrowed it to a friend, they wen´t to court and he got convicted course the cops said they reconised him... He had problems with the pollice acusing
him of stuff and him filing complaints against them. he also got suspected of being the guy that drowe backwards on a bike giving the bird to the police as seen in a ghostrider movie

Now it sounds silly, but in 1990 it was very controversial car. Many people thought it's over-powered for a normal sensible sedan, and police hated it because it was unstoppable (till it crash). Today Audi makes family estate cars with 580hp and no one complains :P
