This is part 1 of 2 on my thoughts about having my video featured on the front page on YouTube. I went back and forth as to whether or not I wanted to try to edit this into 1 videos or do a very straight-forward one take (in two parts). In the end, I decided that I'd have to cut so much out of what I was saying that my overall story and message would get lost. So bear with this two parter, if that's your thing. Part two should be up in a day or so.

It is fun to see what other people are watching. I have found some interesting people to sub to that way. On another note... perhaps YT only gives partnerships to people who look at the front page. :o)

Yeah, I was attacked on Day One myself and reacted in a sort of mean-spirited manner at first. Then I decided to subscribe to and befriend some of the nice YouTubers, which led to more nice ones, which led to enough support against people who would hate on me for kicks. It took me ten tries, but I finally got it. :)

I think a lot of ppl don't make videos because of their fear of being hated on. I found that if you sub to the smaller people who actually are able to reply back and create a dialogue, there's not nearly as much hate out there! :)

well I can relate to this in so many ways, good to hear you didn't get too many personal attacks and interesting to that through 'insight' you got to see the demographic of the haters (I'm not sure that was around when I got featured). I guess with me at least I did get an email from YT where they made it my choice and I could say no - perhaps with a Guest Editors Feature (was that what it was?) it's not the same?

It pained me to see how out of context took your video and then knowing that Greedo was just a special guest...well, it just didn't seem right. But we've both survived and are stronger YT players for it, I guess! :)
