Easy gentlemen, Eddie and Randy are, and were,both musical geniuses. Characters aside, noone can dispute this, and anyone looks rediculous trying to say either wasnt shit. They both came from a planet where everyone played guitar, and we were blessed to have them here.. I wonder where Randy would be musically today. The world only got a taste of what he had to offer. I am thankful for the opportunity to hear and witness such amazing talents.

Both revolutionary guitarists but who are we to compare.Randy and Eddie Both had there ups and downs and were both gods of guitars but it was two different styles of playing and you cant really judge whos better unless you can play exactly like randy or eddie which you probably cant even come close. Exactly,Well said. The only way I can compare is to say who would I want to listen to the most, if I could choose. Thats a tough call. So from a "comparison" view, I would put them equally on my list. Along with Stevie Ray, and Andy Mcgee, Jimmy Page, Hendrix, The list goes on. Bottom line is, it comes down to personal preference, right? It amazes me how many self proclaimed critics there are out there.
